Object of the Bill
The object of the bill is to provide for a legal framework that is geared towards the prevention and control of HIV, reducing the transmission of HIV, Providing HIV testing and counselling services, creating Government obligations towards HIV management, making provisions for the protection of the rights of persons living with HIV, creating offences for willful and intentional transmission of HIV and to provide for related matters.
