Object of the Bill
The object of the Bill is to amend the Value Added Tax Act, Cap 349; include services in the definition of application to own use by a taxable person; add the supply of services to construction of Agriculture, Education and Health Sectors Construction to the list of exempt Supplies; aalow the commissioners General of the Uganda Revenue Authority to delegate powers to Officers of URA; Provide for Official Secretary; Include brokerage Services in the definition of insurance services.
